LONESTAR GAMES 2025 LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE
By checking the box below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the following terms as a condition of my participation in the Lonestar Games 2025 ("Event") held in Brownsville, Texas on June 20-21, 2025:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in this fitness competition involves physical exertion and inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Strains, sprains, fractures, or other injuries from strenuous activity.
Risks associated with lifting weights, high-intensity workouts, and obstacles.
Potential exposure to extreme weather conditions, dehydration, or exhaustion.
Accidents involving equipment, surfaces, or other participants.
I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur before, during, or after the Event.
2. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge the following parties from any claims, demands, or liability for injuries, damages, or losses, including those caused by negligence:
Lonestar Games organizers, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers.
The City of Brownsville, Texas, and its employees, officials, and representatives.
All event staff, affiliates, and other participants.
I understand that I am solely responsible for my well-being and agree not to hold any of the above parties liable for any injuries, medical expenses, or damages incurred during the Event.
3. Medical Authorization & Insurance
I confirm that I am physically able to participate and have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation.
I understand that the event does not provide medical insurance, and I am responsible for my own coverage.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize medical treatment and accept full financial responsibility for any associated costs.
4. Media Release
I grant permission for Lonestar Games, the City of Brownsville, and event sponsors to use my image, voice, and likeness in event photos, videos, and promotional materials without compensation.
5. Compliance with Event Rules
I agree to abide by all event rules, instructions from staff, and safety guidelines. I understand that failure to comply may result in my removal from the Event without refund.
