Uncommon Movement Clause
Any movement that deviates from the prescribed standard, including amending, shortening, or changing the accepted range of motion or line of action, may be disallowed at the discretion of the judges.
This clause is intended to prevent athletes from gaining an unfair advantage by exploiting loopholes or performing movements in a way that isn't in the spirit of the workout.
Judges have the authority to no-rep any movement that appears to circumvent the intent of the standard, even if it’s not explicitly listed as illegal.
Athletes are responsible for asking about any questionable movement variations before the workout begins. No clarification will be made after the fact.
